We use 925 sterling silver and 14ct gold-filled beads in our bracelets. Gold-filled is not to be confused with gold plating as 'filled' has 100 times more gold than gold plating. It is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure onto sterling silver or a base metal. Gold-filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. Gold-filled jewellery is also an economical alternative to solid gold.

Gold vermeil is used on a small number of our charms. It is produced using 925 sterling silver which is plated with 1 micron of gold to give extra durability (40 times more gold than gold plating).
